FamilyPost is a service operated by Find-R, trading under the name FamilyPost, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (hereinafter "FamilyPost", "we", "us", or "our").

FamilyPost provides a service that allows families to share memories digitally and receive printed family journals. We are based in the Netherlands and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

User account data

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture

Journal recipient data

  • Name
  • Address
  • Profile picture

User-generated content

  • Uploaded photos
  • Photo metadata (date/time and optional location)
  • Caption text

Payment data

Payments are processed by a third-party provider. We do not store full payment details.

Technical data

  • Login information
  • Basic usage logs (for security and debugging)

We currently do not use tracking cookies or analytics.

How we use your data

We process personal data to:

  • Provide the FamilyPost service
  • Create and print family journals
  • Deliver journals via postal services
  • Maintain family accounts
  • Store memories for future features
  • Provide customer support
  • Prevent fraud and abuse

We process data based on:

  • Performance of a contract (providing the service)
  • Legitimate interest (improving service and storing memories)

Children and minors

Minors may use the service. We assume that parents or legal guardians provide consent when minors upload content or join family groups.

We store user-generated content long-term to:

  • Preserve family memories

  • Maintain app functionality

Users may request deletion at any time.

We share data only with necessary service providers:

  • Payment processing: Mollie
  • Delivery: PostNL
  • Hosting providers: DigitalOcean

These parties only process data on our behalf. We never sell personal data.

International transfers

All data is stored within the EU where possible.
